What is Origin Green?

In 2012 Bord Bia introduced an industry-wide initiative called Origin Green. This was a bold promise to the world that Ireland would be a leading source of sustainably produced food and drink, independently verified at every link in the supply chain. And every day since, we have been making good on that promise. Three out of four of our food and drink producers have already joined us and, by 2016, the entire industry will be on the path to sustainability. Sourcing from Origin Green suppliers means partnering with companies that have verified commitments to sustainability. See for further information.
